For many years, I carried the disappointment of the opportunities taken from me during the Khmer Rouge regime. Through the IRM project, I took part in training on leadership, advocacy, facilitation, and digital skills — and rediscovered abilities I did not know I still had. Today, I help organise activities for my village's Older People's Association and share ideas that support other survivors. What began with uncertainty has become a source of pride: the project helped me regain confidence, purpose, and a sense of achievement.
